In order to conform to the emerging norms of international trade in fresh produce with specific reference to safety and quality and pursuant to its mandate, the Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Board, Government of Pakistan has designed minimum grades and quality standards for export of citrus fruit from Pakistan likely to be adopted and implemented through Pre-shipment Inspection.

The PHDEB is looking for appropriate organizations for providing pre-shipment inspection services at site (pack-houses in Bhawal and Sargodha). The interested organizations are encouraged to submit technical and financial proposals along with company profile, past experience in this field, technical human resource, inspection charges and other pertinent information latest by 12 November, 2007.
