ISLAMABAD (November 06 2007): A six-member Pakistani business delegation will be leaving here for South Korea to participate in the four-day `The Agricultural Machinery and Seeds (TAMAS) Show 2007`. The delegation will reach the South Korean city of Daejeon on Tuesday (November 6).
The Engineering Development Board (EDB) has facilitated Pakistani business delegation to attend the four-day exhibition to be commenced from November 6, official sources said on Monday.
The exhibition is being organised by Korea-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) and The Farmers Newspapers, and more than 200 firms will exhibit a range of products or technologies in it. The TAMAS 2007 is the seventh of the series.
Every show in the past attracted over 15,000 professional visitors. The exhibition this year is dedicated to enhance the competitiveness of the agricultural industry. `Besides making all possible efforts for smooth processing of visas for Pakistani businessmen EDB has arranged their meetings with different world business delegations there,` the sources said. They said that the exhibition would help businessmen to get machinery information more easily, which could assist them to improve technology competitiveness.
